Thank you card......

Today staff received this card from a family who have been using the nursery since 2011...

To all the staff at St Mary's Nursery @ WFCC
It's the end of an era:(
Our journey began back in 2011! We have so many fond memories and can't believe our journey has come to an end. Thank you to all staff past and present who were involved in shaping my children's future. They have received so much love and encouragement throughout the years.
All the best to all of you for the future, I will defiantly recommend this nursery to family and friends. We will all miss being greeted by your smiles in the morning! Best wishes.

Extension to garden centre activity from 9/7/19

We planted our own sunflower seed, looked at the book to see how we look after it and took it home to to see how big it will grow.

Fruit kebab making....

Helen was preparing snack with the children when she remembered that we had some kebab sticks in the cupboard. She asked the children if they would like to make their own fruit kebabs or have their fruit on their plate. Everyone chose to make a fruit kebab.
There was lots of discussion about health and safely ie importance of washing hands, how to use a knife safely, being careful with the sharp kebab stick.
