St Mary's Nursery @ St Mary's College will be a venue for Lisa at Kinder Kalm.

Kinder Kalm offers unique, innovative and personalised baby and toddler sensory sessions that embed accredited baby massage, baby yoga and toddler yoga moves into the delivery. The Kinder Kalm sessions are personalised in the truest sense being that not one session has ever been the same. 

Sessions: Thursday’s 9.30am and 10.30am

Children Centre Christmas Activities

Pop into the community café for a healthy and nutritious meal or snack.  The café also serves a range of hot and cold drinks.  The café is open during the holidays – ask at reception for a menu.

Babies and young children love toys and books!  Drop into the book & toy library to browse through the books on offer.

Writing letters to Father Christmas......

During this activity Early Years Practitioners are observing the following development matters:

• Beginning to use three fingers (tripod grip) to hold writing tools
• Imitates drawing simple shapes such as circles and lines
• May be beginning to show preference for dominant hand.
• Draws lines and circles using gross motor movements.
• Uses one-handed tools and equipment, e.g. makes snips in paper with child scissors.
• Holds pencil between thumb and two fingers, no longer using whole-hand grasp.
• Holds pencil near point between first two fingers and thumb and uses it with good control.
• Can copy some letters, e.g. letters from their name.

Today Pre school received a letter in the post. 

The letter was from Father Christmas.

Father Christmas has sent 'Buddy' his Elf to spend December in Pre School. 

Hopefully he doesn't cause too much mischief!!!!!
