The Hungry Caterpillar

Having listened to and acting out the story of the  'The Hungry Caterpillar' staff set up some activities to see how much of the story the children could recall and to practice scissor control. 

Impact 

-Maths - Uses number names and number language spontaneously

-Characteristic of effective learning- paying attention to detail   -Showing satisfaction in meeting their own goals -Being proud of how they accomplished something 

-C&L - Literacy - Describe the main story settings, events and principal characters  - repeats words and phrases from the story

-Physical - Uses one-handed tools and equipment
