Writing outdoors.......

 

 Wendy set up a writing area in the garden. The children were invited to draw a picture or write a wish and hang it on our wish tree.

Holds pencil between thumb and two fingers, no longer using whole-hand grasp.

•Holds pencil near point between first two fingers and thumb and uses it with good control.

•Can copy some letters, e.g. letters from their name.

•Draws lines and circles using gross motor movements.

 

The children chose to draw animals and make it into an 'animal tree'.
