Learning is fun......

Personal, Social and emotional: Self Confidence and Awareness
'A child expressed own preferences and interests' wanting to make cakes
(Steph made play dough for the children to have their own individual batch)

Invitation to Learning

An Invitation to Learning was set up in the tuff spot; staff wanted to observe children's hand-eye co-ordination, hand preference, willingness to keep trying and to help build up elbow, wrist and finger muscles (pre writing skills)

Impact: Susan observed some lovely turn taking/sharing, some fabulous counting and children were persistent when it became difficult to thread the rings.

'I can jump high'
Helen worked with the children to think of what they could use to make jumping a bit more challenging. The children chose to build a wall to see who could jump over it.

'Helen can you jump? I will take your photograph'.
