Children in Need 2018

We are holding a Cake/ Coffee sale on Friday 16^th November 2018 to raise money for Children in Need.

We need your help …… please could you bake some cakes with your child (or buy) and bring them into Nursery from Thursday 15^th November ready for our event on Friday 16^th November.

EVERYONE is invited to our cake/coffee event, the more the merrier, even if Friday isn’t your child’s normal nursery day, just pop inJ

The stall will be set up from 9.30am and will be open throughout the day so come along to enjoy a cake and cuppa with your child J

As part of  St. Mary's values:Democracy the children were given pictures of designs of pumpkins carved. The eyp encouraged them to chose which one they would the room pumpkin to be.

Safety Message: Be safe at home

The children were sat in small groups as they were provided
with a box of objects at home that can be dangerous.

Safety Message:

 The EYP talked about being safe around these objects at home and to be very careful.

Sometimes we might need to have a plaster or a bandage when we have hurt ourselves.

 We talked about the importance of not touching the medicine bottles and our mummy's and daddy's keep them in a safe cupboard.

Halloween Dress up

Please dress your child in a Halloween costume or black clothes if they attend nursery on Wednesday 31st October. Halloween activities will be provided.

Healthy Me Day: Let's go for a walk

Plan:  Take the children on a ‘healthy walk’ to the forest. Collect leaves, conkers etc to explore when back at nursery.
