Balancing......

Pre school - Exploring media and materials

The children have been exploring media and materials to explore feelings. In the malleable area the children discussed what makes them happy, sad, angry etc. They made faces using lots of different resources..........

Wake and Shake

Children who can walk on their own should be physically active every day for at least 180 minutes (3 hours). This should be spread throughout the day, indoors or outside.

The 180 minutes can include light activity such as standing up, moving around, rolling and playing, as well as more energetic activity like skipping, hopping, running and jumping.

As part of the daily routine the children take part in ‘Wake and Shake’………

Pre School Group Time

Teepo and Mimi
Your child may have come home talking about 'Teepo and Mimi'.

                               This is Teepo and Mimi..........

These are our group time rules.........
Good sitting
Good talking
Good listening
Good looking
The children also learn the sign for each of these group time rules.

Over the weeks the children will develop their listening and attention skills, early phonological awareness, understanding of big and little, positional language, narrative skills, sequencing and use of rhyming words. (if you would like to look at the detailed plans, please speak to your child's key worker)
