The community PCSO's came to Nursery to talk to the children about seatbelt safety.
If your little one requests you put their seat belt on please do so, not only for their safety but to instill this safety message they've learnt at Nursery.
The children were taking part in the 'All about me' body activity outside where they lay down and staff drew around them. The children then showed particular interest in pointing to their body features and identifying there eyes, nose and mouth.
The children used their dominant hands to imitate drawing circles and lines on their body templates using mark making tools.
The children have been showing interest in the Hungry Caterpillar story sack. They have been exploring the objects in the bag and paying attention to details. The activity was extended by giving the children a variety of mark making tools to make their own Hungry Caterpillar. The children's pictures were then placed on a display.
