Don't forget your wellies....

                     This week is Mr Tumble week; we will be going on our 'Wellie Walk'. 

We will be taping up our wellies with double sided sticky tape and collecting items on them such as leaves, twigs, feathers etc. We will be using the items collected on our talking tables. 

 

Primary School

If your child is due to start Primary School in September 2017, you will now know what school they will be attending :)
Please inform a member of Pre School staff of the school (even if you are going to appeal) to enable us to make smooth transitions.

Bank Holiday Closure

Nursery will be closed Good Friday (14th April) and Easter Monday (17th April)

Gardening......

We tested our own ideas as we dug in the compost with our spades, and planted seeds in the plant pots...........

.........we then maintained our focus and showed a can do attitude as we watered our seeds with the big watering can.

Staff Easter egg competition

The staff were set a challenge to decorate an egg (polysterene or real!) and I think you would agree we certainly accepted.  Our eggs ranged in size and in creativity.
1st Prize went to Sarah for her 'Beauty and the Beast' eggs
2nd Prize went to Adeema for her 'Farm Yard' eggs
3rd Prize went to Aneesa for her 'Minions' eggs

Exploring outside

The children showed curiosity when they found a caterpillar outside in the mud, they said 'aww caterpillar' and decided to feed the caterpillar a leaf. 

Fun in the baby room

We maintained our focus as we used big and little objects to make marks in the paint, we used the word stamp, stamp as we stamped in the paint

We showed a particular interest and with the support of staff watered our sunflower.

We took on a role in our play and acted out experiences by feeding Bella Bear

We showed a high level of energy and fascination as we hid the animals under the blanket and then found them.
